Description
The external staircase with loggia leads to the first floor where the door opens onto a large, light living room with a huge fireplace. The three bedrooms are located on the left side of the hall and are facing west. Opposite the rooms is the bathroom, kitchen and study / hobby room. The ground floor with separate entrance consists of a large living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom.

Surroundings
Castiglione del Lago is located on a cliff overlooking Lake Trasimeno and is one of the most beautiful towns in the area of Lake Trasimeno. Castiglione del Lago is home to many events. At the end of April, the beautiful landscape is filled with kites that color the sky, an event that promotes the culture of peace and the protection of the environment. The International Folklore Festival is an international festival aimed at promoting awareness of the traditions and popular culture of the different countries: various folk groups perform in the open-air theater housed in the medieval fortress.

Also not to be missed in April is the Tulip Festival, Castiglione del Lago is then completely decorated with beautiful flowers. The festival consists of a parade of floats set up with tulips, costume parades and Palio’s districts.
In the green heart of Umbria, between reeds and beautiful white water lilies, lies Lake Trasimeno, a true natural paradise where many wild ducks, cormorants, red kites and kingfishers linger. Framed, next to the flat slope, through rolling hills with forests interspersed with fields of sunflowers and corn, vineyards and olive groves. There are several municipalities in the Trasimeno area: some are situated on the lake, others more inland value, but all are influenced by the charm and attractiveness of this pond.

From the medieval village of Passignano, Isola Maggiore, the largest and still inhabited island, can be reached by boat. In this beautiful place the fifteenth-century fishing village has remained intact and you can visit the Romanesque church of San Salvatore from the twelfth century, the church of St. Michael the Archangel from the fourteenth century and the Villa Isabella Guglielmi Marchesi. Maggiore is also accessible from Tuoro sul Trasimeno, an ancient Etruscan city, known for the battle that took place here between Hannibal and Caio Flaminio, and the tomb of the Roman commander now houses the Renaissance Palazzo Capra.

The largest island in the lake (there are three), however, is the Polvese island, uninhabited and a public park. Here you can admire the monastery of San Secondo, the church of St. Julian and a fourteenth-century castle. Not far away is Magione, a village dominated by the distinguished castle of the Knights of Malta and known for the production of copper and the ancient artisanal technique of embossing.
